Our Mission
At Joy Restored LLC, our mission is to walk alongside you as you heal, grow, and rediscover your sense of joy. We believe that therapy is not about “fixing” who you are — it’s about helping you reconnect with the whole, capable, and resilient person you’ve always been.
We aim to create a space of safety, compassion, and empowerment, where you can take meaningful steps toward living a life that feels aligned, peaceful, and true to you.
My Approach
My work draws from evidence-based approaches including:
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): building emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness skills
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): understanding and reshaping unhelpful thoughts and behaviors
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): learning to accept difficult emotions while moving toward your values
Who I Work With
I specialize in supporting:
Adults navigating stress, anxiety, grief, or life transitions
Teens and families struggling with communication, conflict, or emotional disconnection
Women and mothers adjusting to perinatal and postpartum changes
Individuals healing from childhood trauma seeking peace and self-acceptance
A Bit About Me
I became a therapist because I believe in the power of human connection — that being deeply heard and understood can transform the way we experience ourselves and our relationships.
Clients often describe me as warm, patient, and grounding. My goal is to create a space that feels safe and compassionate, where you can explore even the hardest emotions without fear of judgment.
Outside of my work, I find joy in [insert a personal touch — e.g., “spending time with my family,” “enjoying nature walks,” “creative projects,” or “quiet mornings with coffee”]. These small moments remind me of the importance of presence, balance, and grace — lessons I bring into my work with clients every day.
