FAQ & Getting Started
You deserve a space where you can slow down, breathe, and be supported.
The first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to work on, and any goals or concerns you have. It’s a gentle, open conversation — no pressure, no judgment. You’re welcome to go at your own pace as we begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship.
I provide therapy for adults, teens, and families who are navigating life transitions, emotional overwhelm, or relational challenges. My areas of focus include:
- Parent-child and family struggles
- Divorce and blended family adjustments
- Grief and loss
- Perinatal and postpartum support
- Healing from childhood trauma
- Anxiety, stress, and emotional regulation
My approach is rooted in warmth, compassion, and evidence-based care. I integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients strengthen coping skills, emotional awareness, and self-compassion.
Together, we’ll focus on understanding your experiences, developing healthy patterns, and finding practical tools for healing and growth.
Yes. All sessions are offered via secure telehealth for residents of Maryland. Online therapy provides flexibility and comfort — you can attend sessions from your home, office, or any private space where you feel safe.
Sessions typically last 50–55 minutes and are usually held weekly or biweekly, depending on your goals and needs. We’ll collaborate on a schedule that feels both supportive and sustainable.
Insurance Accepted:
I currently accept Maryland Medicaid and most commercial insurance companies. If you prefer to pay privately, I also offer self-pay options and can provide a superbill for reimbursement if your plan allows.
We’ll review payment options before your first session so you know exactly what to expect.
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a late-cancellation fee. Emergencies and unexpected situations are always considered with understanding — communication is key.
Therapy can be helpful if you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready to make meaningful changes in your life. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting — that’s what therapy helps with.
If you’re craving a space to be heard, understood, and supported as you take steps toward becoming the best version of yourself, you’ve come to the right place
Reaching out is the first — and often hardest — step. You can:
- Email or call to request a free consultation
- Ask questions about therapy, scheduling, or insurance
- Book an appointment directly if you’re ready to begin
From there, we’ll schedule your first session and begin your journey toward healing and joy.
